I don’t use AI in any of my original works. I use Grammarly for spell- and grammar correction since I’m not a native English speaker (and I can’t afford to hire an editor). I also have experimented with cloning my own voice as an AI voice for the sole reason that I would like to make audiobooks out of my ebooks just for accessibility for people with a hard time with their eyesight or people who otherwise feel it suits them better to listen to books. I have a little bit of a hard time speaking out load in the way audio books requires due to my Autism so I experiment with solutions like my own voice clone… HOWEVER! I would never let AI do the CREATIVE and ARTISTIC part! AI is just for accessibility tools. I type words by hand, draw comics and illustrate by hand and compose by playing music the old-fashioned acoustic way with notation and musical instruments.
Take away: AI is only allowed as an accessibility tool and not as a creative tool or artistic outlet.
