A philosophical memoir by Trix Joyce

Book description

Inclusivity is the long-forgotten key needed to open the doors to a full, dynamic, vibrant and rich walk with God. Despite that, though many have written theological books before me, few have touched on the heart of Jesus.

In this book I write about my faith like a memoir, mixed with my theological and philosophical writings about why more people should take a more progressive approach to Christianity if they want people to actually stay and/or come back to the church. That’s also the key to heal for people with religious trauma if they even choose to stay.

We have tried the conservative, traditional and patriarchal ways long enough, without healing the world. So maybe the traditions we always followed either had an expiration date, or they weren’t true to begin with. Either way, wise Followers of Christ aim for change when things don’t work, and for a Christianity that will survive, we need to equip our faith with what it needs: kindness, open-mindedness and compassion.
